PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The Portsmouth Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is hosting a special mental health forum for teenagers and adults this Saturday. Standice Melvin, CEO of Benevolent Family Services and Dr. Ernestine Duncan, psychology dialect chair during Norfolk State University, were in The Hampton Roads Show studio to explain that mental health is a problem that plagues many Americans and even some-more African Americans.
