Abstract: The magnitude with that patients implement treatments encompassed by a tenure complementary/alternative medicine (CAM) is good documented. A series of these therapies are commencement to be integrated into contemporary medical practice. This essay examines 3 of them: osteopathic manipulation, yoga, and acupuncture, with a concentration on their physiological effects, efficiency in treating medical conditions ordinarily encountered by practitioners, precautions or contraindications, and ways in that they can be incorporated into clinical practice.
