Fullerton doctor who removed wrong kidney relinquishes license

A Fullerton doctor who was disciplined last year after he removed the wrong kidney from a federal inmate has given up his medical license, the state medical board said Monday. Charles Coonan Streit, a urologist, was placed on three years medical board probation for the surgical error, which took place in 2012.
