US Women’s National Soccer Team Advances… but FIFA Fails to advance in concussion care
Congratulations to the U.S. I’m ready to cheer Christie Rampone and her teammates to victory, hoping they will add to their two Women’s World Cup titles (including the first ever Women’s World Cup in 1991). It was the parallels to last year’s World Cup injuries, which I covered on this blog, that saw many concussed players returning to the game after adequate medical intervention and, simply, not enough time.
